CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES BOARD PUBLIC RELATIONS AND OUTREACH OFFICER

Basic Purpose:  This position serves as the agency’s public relations and information liaison, legislative and governmental relations liaison, workforce development project coordinator, administrative special project coordinator, as well as providing outreach support to the Administrator. 

This position performs public relations responsibilities, independent research and assists the Administrator in serving as a liaison for public relations needs by creating a positive public relations environment, providing creative and helpful presentations of agency, trade and regulatory information, and developing research information, educational and other materials as it relates to key issues.

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES BOARD ADMINISTRATIVE PROGRAMS OFFICER

Basic Purpose:  Responsible for professional level administrative work for a specialized trade program area – processing applications for licenses/registrations/endorsements, maintaining records, preparing correspondence, managing the technical committee process, processes citations, and keeps track of cases/action. Provides administrative support to other managerial staff, provides services to agency customers. Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor or Administrator.

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIES BOARD MECHANICAL FIELD INVESTIGATOR

Territory:  Northeast Oklahoma (However, assigned work locations may be adjusted depending on the needs of the CIB.) 

Summary: Enforces licensing act of mechanical trade. Works with local public and private groups to coordinate and educate on topics of licensing and code standards.  Gathers information, prepares reports, and testifies at hearings on licensing violations.  Home-based duty station in Oklahoma, likely Northeast Oklahoma region, with specific counties to be determined; however, assigned work locations may be adjusted at any time depending on the needs of the CIB.  Extensive in-state travel.  Some overnight travel required.  Must be able to pass a criminal history background check.   Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor or Administrator.

Territory:  South Central (However, assigned work locations may be adjusted depending on the needs of the CIB.)

Works with local public and private groups to coordinate and educate on topics of licensing and code standards.  Gathers information, prepares reports, and testifies at hearings on licensing violations.  Home-based duty station in Oklahoma, likely South Central Oklahoma region, with specific counties to be determined; however, assigned work locations may be adjusted at any time depending on the needs of the CIB.  Extensive in-state travel. Some overnight travel required.  Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor or Administrator.  Must be able to pass criminal history background check.
